She completed her endodontic education at the Scottsdale Institute with Dr. Cliff Ruddle and practiced over 240 hours of implant education through the University of Florida’s clinic in St. Petersburg.

Dr. Horton and her husband of 39 years, Earl, have been active in the Tampa community for decades. They contributed to efforts to establish the Children’s Museum in Tampa. They also worked with COVE Behavioral Health (formerly known as DACCO) to reduce addiction and prevent deaths from alcoholism and opioid overdoses.

Dr. Horton is committed to helping those in need at her office and working with Gulf Coast Dental Outreach in Pinellas County. Dr. Horton has two grown children, and besides spending time with her family, she is an avid exercise and tennis enthusiast. Dr. Horton is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and the American Dental Implant Association.
